To improve public safety by restoring former offenders to productive roles in society through training, counseling and education programs that remove the barriers to meaningful employment and that teach skills for today's workforce.
Organization
CEi operates a training division (that assists participants obtain employment through work readiness and alternative staffing activities) and a community engagement division (that coordinates community and faith-based resources to assist prisoners during their transition to society. The organization also partners with a CPA for financial management and a nonprofit event promoter (CDP) to manage its major annual event, Bella Sera.
Revenue for operations is generated through charitable gifts and grants as well as events and staffing activities.
